Open Gardens events have been held in Ingleby Arncliffe and Ingleby Cross every 4 years, starting in 2003, with about 15 gardens being open to the public each time.
The events have included sales of teas with home baked cakes, plant sales, icecream sales, scarecrow competition and
a display of classic cars.
Each year the money raised has been divided equally between a number of organisations and good causes that benefit the villages as a whole. These have included the Village Hall, Church, Chapel, School, Young Farmers, Recreation Area, WI and the Garden Club.
The next event will be on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th June 2019
1.00pm to 5.00pm
