In the Village
We have a small cafe which is dog friendly (The Joiners Shop) in Ingleby Cross. and t
here is a small shop selling sandwiches, pies, hot dogs, grain bars, confectionary, coffee and soft drinks at the Exelby Services Fuel Station on the A19 northbound, 400m to the west of Ingleby Arncliffe. Grid Reference 442012.
Open 24/7 except: Friday close at 10pm, Saturday  7am to 9pm, Sunday open 8am then 24/7. Telephone: 01609 882280.
At the same location is a Truck Stop including a cafe.
Open Monday to Friday 7am - 2pm, Saturday 9am - 1pm.

An ice box of small water bottles is kept stocked for walkers to help themselves. It is located on the wall outside Rose Lea, the 7th property down Cross Lane from the road junction in Ingleby Arncliffe.

The Blue Bell Inn at Ingleby Cross is also open daily for meals from 12pm - 2.30pm and from 6pm - 9pm. The bar is open from noon each day, and sells nuts, crisps, confectionary and drinks.

​Osmotherley
The Top Shop sells foodstuffs including pies, rolls, fresh fruit, cakes, biscuits, confectionary and drinks at 15 North End, Osmotherley, DL6 3BA, 1.6km off the Coast to Coast route. Please telephone in advance for group orders of filled rolls, in order to prevent having to wait on the day of collection.
Open Monday to Saturday 8.30am to 5.30pm, Sunday 9am to 5pm (Summer) and 9am to 1pm (Winter). Summer/Winter times are determined by when the clocks change, but in good weather may extend by a couple of weeks. Telephone: 01609 883251.
Carlton Bank
Meals & supplies such as cakes, biscuits, confectionary and drinks at Lord Stones Cafe at Carlton Bank, TS9 7JH, Grid Reference 524030. The cafe is about 100m south of the Coast to Coast route, hidden from view by trees and the slope of the hillside. It is easy to walk past it without seeing it!

Eastbound walkers on the Coast to Coast Walk: After Carlton Bank you will either have to leave the Coast to Coast route and visit Great Broughton (village shop and public houses) or Chop Gate (public house); or continue on the route to the Lion Inn at Blakey Ridge.

Transport

The bus service runs 2 hourly, numbers 80 and 89, east to Stokesley and west to Northallerton, our 2 closest towns and to villages in between. Both of these market towns have weekly markets, supermarkets and lots of shops.
In Northallerton there is an outdoor store, Mountain Warehouse (www.mountainwarehouse.com).

It uses the bus stop in Ingleby Cross. There is a stop at the junction in Ingleby Arncliffe, but that is not on the route for all services.

We also have the MoorsBus, which runs July to September. This service runs southward over the moors to Helmsley etc.
