Equipment

Equipment for very young children

Picture

This multi-activity equipment is right by the gate and next to the picnic table so there is somewhere to keep all the things that generally accompany a toddler to the field

The willow dens are a sure-fire winners
with lots of younger children

The log dragon is great fun to walk along, with support if needed.
The older children are allowed to cycle along it so please be careful if they are using it.
There is a path through the meadow grass for children to run or cycle around

Several children can enjoy the                                   basket swing at the same
          time while feeling secure.

The infant swings have safety seats to prevent accidents

Equipment for those under 18 years old

Picture

The Zip Wire is definitely the most exciting piece of equipment on the field!  It has been designed for 8 to 13 year olds but
older children and adults can use it.  Please be aware that it is
very fast and has a kick at the end so it is necessary to
hold on very tightly!

Picture

Probably the least exciting piece of equipment on the field unless you are a basketball player who wants to practice shooting

Balance Circuit & Monkey Bars
Go on - test yourself!  Can you get all the way round without putting a foot on the ground?

Picture
The jungle climbing frame works for all ages!
It includes a safety net that can also be used for balance as well as a climbing aid

Equipment for Adults

Picture

The adult exercise equipment consists of rowing machine, air walker, cycling machine and ski machine.

They have been provided so that parents can enjoy some exercise while keeping a wary eye on their children playing elsewhere in the area.
