Resting beneath the majestic Cleveland Hills in the North Riding of Yorkshire it is a small parish whose inhabitants primarily reside in the two adjoining hamlets of Ingleby Arncliffe and Ingleby Cross.
The resident population is a mixture of young and older people engaged in a variety of employment and leisure activities including farming, professional occupations, small businesses, education and retirement.
